At last, this is my last post for tonight. Been writing a lot and my brain is draining and eyes are paining.
I know that it ain't cold season anymore, though, there are certain areas in the planet that are still in the midst of cold temperature. Pardon me but I wanna talk about fireplace tonight.
While voice chatting to my sister in Canada earlier, her fireplace pretty caught my eyes so I asked her if it is functioned by logs or gas just like what I have here in my house. She said that it is powered by electricity and that she bought an electric fireplace insert last cold season for the safety of her toddlers. Electric fireplace insert is a lot easier to use compared to logs. According to her, there is no need to clean the fireplace each and every use nor place logs in, everything is clean inside without the yucky ashes. She just have to use the remote to turn electric fireplace on or do it manually and her house feels warm in the inside in just a matter of few seconds.
It must be nice to have lots of money just like my sister. She can buy whatever she wants. Just imagine how much it cost her when she bought her electric fireplace, $300, huge amount for me. That's how easy it is for her. Well, I am happy that she has a better life, a life that won't compel her to work to feed her family.
Trimming down is a process that takes a lot of time and patience. Losing a pound can not be achieved in just a day or two especially when one's diet is poor and sweating a gallon is not done in a day. I must say that I've been there and done that. Done losing weight but eventually gained it back and lose it again. Tell you that it is harder than I thought during the first couple of weeks. The adjustment period was holding me back. After dealing with it, the process becomes easier. I know how to lose weight better than before. I know my body now.
While others are depending to much on expensive diet programs such as those that we see on TV, there are some who does it themselves with the support of hcg diet supplements, one of the most common weight loss supplements of the current times. So far, I heard none about its effectivity from close friends. It might have done wonders to selected few or many, who knows.
Everyone needs vitamins, regardless of age and gender. Each person has its own dietary needs and that is why vitamins are formulated according to one's needs. There are vitamins formulated for kids alone and even for babies and there are, of course, dietary supplements for men and women that comes with age brackets. Below 50's have their own sort of vitamins while above 50's have, too.
Each one in my family takes vitamins daily. Hubby has his own men's vitamin that he takes every morning after waking up. The 'lil one has a chewable gummy-formed vitamin that she likes a lot and thinks every gummy candies are vitamins which she calls.."mins", short for vitamins. I, too, have my own. The only difference is that I do not take mine daily. I just can't bear the taste, texture and the size of the capsule or tablet and even gummy-formed vitamins. How I wish it's easy for me to swallow and my tolerance towards nasty taste is high.
There are two persons I know who can not put themselves to sleep without the aid of sleeping pills every bedtime. Actually, I know them very well because they both are related to one another by blood. The dad is a dependent of sleeping pills since his younger years. He is now seventy-four years old and still can't sleep tight without a pill or two every night.
His son is a lot like him, too. Never in a night that a sleeping pill is not taken by him. He said he already tried going to bed without it but didn't do good at all, instead, caused him twisting and turning the whole night and if only he can take sleeping pills off his system, he would but he needs sleep especially on nights before work hours.
I understand their situation because my brother is the same. But instead of taking sleeping pills, he dozes himself by drinking beer moderately at night. It is helping him so well. Thanks to the beer! Cheers! :D
So anyway, the two persons that I mention above are no less than my father-in-law and my one and only, the husband.
I spent over $30 to give Pro-active a try a couple of moths ago but guess what had transpired after a week of serious application. More acne, uneven skin tone and blemishes were visible on my skin. Pro-active is not for me and not for everyone.
The infomercial that I keep on seeing on the television is very persuading. Who won't get persuaded after seeing those endorsers with healthy skin, skin with no acne or blemishes at all. I begun to learn more about depression the time when I was conceiving my 'lil one. I had no idea that birthing can cause a woman to have this kind of mental disorder, thanks to my doctor for the info. The hubby was so worried about me that I might get depress out of boredom, parenting adjustments, hormonal change and even small non-sense things that would cause my mind to fluctuate. I think it was him who got depressed and not me (kidding aside). To ease him, I gave my word that his fear of me getting depress won't ever happen as I know how to deal with myself. I will never end up like those other mothers who killed their babies. Sure enough, I am fine and depression never touch me. Need not to buy the prescription medicine that my doctor had prescribed either. I am just glad that everything went well after birthing and until now that my baby is almost two years old.

So occupied early today and didn't bear in mind that today is the 26th day of April (Philippine time), the day of one of the most anticipated events in the blogosphere, the celebration of Lainy's Musings 2nd blogoversary. If I didn't do my online tasks earlier, I wouldn't realize that it's already the 26th. Glad I posted her blogoversary banner on my page, I was reminded.
To Lainy, your contributions on the blogosphere are highly applauded and watched out. It's not a surprise anymore why you received numerous blog awards and mostly won blog contests. Congratulations for coming this far. I will be looking forward for more posts in the coming years.

I don't have a broad knowledge when it comes to cars and it's parts, just a few. I can't even drive yet though I am practicing. Therefore, I am not the best person to talk to or to be asked about this matter.
There is one whom I can recommend, hubby's brother-in-law, an expert when it comes to vehicles. He owns an accredited car shop that caters body repair, paint and more. For sure he can provide any Ferrari parts just in case his customers need 'em. His business is so successful that grows every year.
In relation to the first paragraph, driving is not something to be hurried. There are so many important details to be marked in mind before taking the road. My plan is to take this seriously in June, after the family's trip in the Philippines. Surely, my mind will be busy again. A thick manual awaits my attention. Wish me luck when time comes, fellas.
Today, while FB-ing, I spotted a friend's photo showing her baby bump. She and her husband are so excited for the blessings that they just knew less than a week ago. My friend Gladys Erhardt is so pregnant to her first child. Congratulations, Mare Glad and Carlo. Wish you a happy pregnancy and a very healthy baby.
For the time being, I am certain that Gladys will take a hold on her adventures, no more trail hiking and even refrain herself from being a hard core in the gym, her exercise routine shall change. Though, minimal walking is good for her. I bet ya she is craving for various foods now and even have mood swings, normal for a person with such condition.
My congratulations also goes to my other friend who recently gave birth to a baby girl. Jackie is enjoying the presence of her adorable girl while adjusting to motherhood. I see that she gained weight just like other new moms. And to you dear mommy, just in case you wanna lose those pregnancy fats, maybe try taking a fat burner supplement every day or as required. I did not try it myself, afraid of capsules or any tablets to clog in my throat so can't give my opinion on the certain product. Maybe you can Jack since you are fearless.

A dear friend Luzzy tagged me a picture of us taken nearly three years ago. So happy that she still has a copy of it. She's such a keeper that I thought of myself as a big unorganized personFr for it was me who took the picture using my own camera but I didn't have my own copy.
Anyway, I showed hubby the said picture and told her that I wasn't fat at all three years ago but now I am a mess. He consoled me with his words that I am not fat and that I should remember I gave birth and losing those pregnancy fats take sometimes. I admit that my belly is hanging around an inch over my body. It's just so nasty to look at, thus, I am still working on eliminating these lose skin and excess.
When I complained bout my yucky appearance, a friend in California also gave her unsolicited suggestion to give weight loss drinks a try. She trimmed down seven pounds in less than a month because of the product, and of course, with daily carbo exercise and portioned healthy foods.
Everytime I am on the road and in between these huge vehicles, I can't help but think negatively. What if this truck on the right side loses it's break and hit my car? I would be crashed into pieces in the midst of the road, for sure. God forbid!
I remember hubby's bestfriend who died on the spot in a car accident years ago. It was the truck driver's fault. The driver's not sober while driving on the inter-state. He didn't see hubby's bestfriend coming who was driving carefully on the way home from Best buy. Of course, there was a case two years ago. The victim's family hired a Texas Truck accident lawyer to sue the car insurance company of the truck. The case was settled and the widow got a huge amount of money from the insurance company. She opted settlement because what had transpired can not be taken back. Now, she's living in abundance. Thanks to the truck accident lawyer who fought for her.
Women have one common denominator -- shopping. We are not satisfied with just a pair of shoes, few clothing, few bags and accessories. Thus, we tend to shop and shop for more new stuff regardless of the fact that we don't really use all of 'em. They are just occupying space in our closet and are wasted.
I love to shop clothes especially shoes. My closet is filled with clothes that I haven't wore since day one. But those will serve it's purpose on my visit to the Philippines in May. When it comes to shoes, I have many, too. I own more than ten pairs and only three are abused since they are my favorites. Besides, I can not wear high heels with an active toddler by me.
Lately, I begun shopping purses. The hubby even asked me why I keep on buying but never use 'em. Well, I just love to look at them, not use 'em especially my Christian Louboutin and Guess purses. I do not own those over a thousand dollar worth per purse, though.
Before you raise your eyebrows on what you have read above, I'd like to tell you that I am a wise shopper. I buy at discount stores where I can get 50%-70% off. I can not afford to spend beyond what I earn nor I can not afford a Christian Louboutin pair of shoes. Only in my dreams, but who knows? I might be able to get one someday.
In my three years in the blogosphere, I have never met someone as skanky as Zuveena or better known as Janice Negrosa, a self-proclaimed intelligent and achiever. Her icky mouth and putrid personality have ruined the harmony in the blogosphere, thus, there is no single room for heR in the community.
To TWERLYN, the person whom she bashed with a sledgehammer, I am proud of what you did. Instead of bashing her, too, you find a spot in your heart to appease with her. You truly are a good person. Today is the 22nd day of April in the Philippines and is the natal day of my dear mother. She turns 53 this year, another year older and wiser. Oh my mother is not getting any younger. Wishfully, she'll stay longer that she could see us, her kids, grow more.
Meanwhile, I just happen to give her a phone call about five minutes ago to greet her a very happy birthday and for a 'lil chit chat. Mamang's voice sounds so happy. I asked for an apology because I have nothing to give her this year. The supposed to be her gift was given to my brother who's in need the other day. It's fine with her and said that I have given her enough. She's thankful that her birthday is remembered. She even laughed when I told her I have tons of pasalubongs for her and that she's gonna like it much.
It's been three long years since I saw her personally. This coming May, we will be reunited for weeks and will be apart afterwards but that doesn't mean we will live in solitude. Our hearts will forever be bonded.

Full of Shit! Such a stupid act. A big loss for 'em coz I am not buying it.
References play a huge role to successfully achieve one's desires or dreams. Whether you're writing a school report or much bigger than that, written knowledge and experience of an expert will make a positive difference.
I must say that it worked on hubby's goal to achieve his desire to lose weight and build muscles. Before he started his weight loss program, he first bought fitness training and diet books to acquire knowledge from the fitness guru himself, Bill P. Not only that, he searched for Health and Fitness Articles online for additional information. He even watched videos on Youtube about the success stories of ordinary individuals who lose over fifty pounds and gain muscles in just a matter of over a year. So amazing that it inspired hubby to work hard and be like them.
Now, hubby is working on building more muscles. Before, he ain't a shopper, but now, he shops clothes every payday. His closet was full of size XL shirts and size 38 bottoms back then, but now, he wears size 32 bottoms and small size shirts! Imagine how many inches were trimmed down.
I am so proud of hubby's achievement. THanks to the fitness books and articles!
In my post following to this, I mentioned that I am bored with household chores. Regardless of that, I have no choice but to deal with it. The house is my domain and part of it is to maintain it's cleanliness and orderliness. Thus, cleaning and cooking will be done in two minutes, after posting and submitting this post.
I am glad that the hubby helps me in someway when he's off work. According to him, cleaning and yard work makes him sweat that helped in the process of his quick weight loss besides making me happy. Awww...that is so sweet of him and I do appreciate his gestures so much. Hopefully, he'll remain that thoughtful throughout our marriage.
Anyway, I will be back in a couple of hours. FB-ing will be done later after I am done cleaning as well as continue bidding on the swimsuit cover-ups that's gonna end in four hours. Wish me luck. I really love the item, I wanna get it by hook or by crook.
I am bored. Bored of doing the same things over and over again. I want challenges but can not go beyond what I have right now. Household chores bore me a lot as well as internet. Tending my 'lil one bores me, too, when she wants to be by herself. So here I am writing just anything to complete my task and that I can submit it right away.

The picture shows no details for privacy of selected individuals.My brother is so picky that I had to send different kinds of lay-out before he approves it. Thank God he finally made his choice. I am done with the invitations and are already mailed off to the Philippines. Job well done according to my number one fan, hubby.

Haha... so funny! The 'lil one just pulled her dada towards the door. Guess what she's up to. She wants to go outside or go somewhere else either at her grandparents or mall. Everytime her dada is off work, she never fails to think of going out. Instead a rest for Dada on his day-off, there he goes and drive for us wherever we go.
Since the lil one wants to go somewhere, I guess the nearby park is a good idea to spend time at. There are no training equipments such as ellipticals nor treadmills but at least we can walk a mile on the sidewalk within the park. We need to get back on diet and exercise after a pig out yesterday at Cracker Barrel and late at night chocolates.
Yehaaaaaa! time to burn calories!

He is sitting right next to me and we are chatting on FB. Did you know what he just said? We are going to live in a motorhome if in any case he lose his job. He's just gonna buy one and place it at the back yard of his parents property. What the heck?! So I said that we ain't losing this house because we started everything here and that he should work hard and be good to stay in the sheriff's office.
Anyway, the sister is online and is giving me the info about our visit to Pearl Farm in Davao. The rate is beyond my budget but I am hooking in just to experience a two-night-island getaway. Php 4.950.00 per person with the inclusion of overnight accommodation, welcome drinks upon arrival, one breakfast, one l unch, one Dinner, roundtrip boat transfers only and complimentary use of swimming pool, tennis court and resort selected recreational facilities is pretty much reasonable for a dollar island.
Sure is half of my own savings will be smashed for this trip alone. Oh well, that's what vacation means, luxury.
You must be tired or reading too many of my posts that pertain to hubby. Well, pardon me coz I am proud of him. He is a wonderful man with a word of honor. Just like when he said last year that he's gonna lose over 60 pounds and neither weight loss surgery or fitness trainer could help him but himself. Bet you won't believe he did it. He looks so great now, I mean he looked great before but much better now that he trimmed down or lose those unneeded fats.
For an overview, hubby gained too much wait when the 'lil one was born. He left the gym that he could help me as well ate too unhealthy foods, his way of dealing stress. When he gained weight, we started talking about weight loss surgery and that was before he fixed his mind to do it all by himself. From 240 down to 180 pounds of pure fats. Such a huge achievement yet he ain't done. He said he needs to lose at least 1o more pounds that he can start gaining muscles.
Hey babe, by any chance you read this post, I want you to know that I am proud of you. Keep looking great.
On the plane ride to the Philippines in May, me and the 'lil one need MP3 players or ipods to aid us in a 24-hour of boredom and waiting from the airport 'til the flight is over. Besides, the 'lil loves music, any portable music player that I can just put in her pocket with a headphone might be of help to control her unsolicited tantrums.
Mother-in-law did mention yesterday that she'll buy one for her favorite granddaughter. Hubby will of course buy a new one for me since her daughter soaked my MP3 player in the toilet. Whichever he can afford, an MP3 or iPod, I will accept thankfully. He ain't worrying for himself as he already own an iPod which he bought last year as Christmas present for himself.

It is priced more or less $190.The sister's husband co-owns a communication company that sells and fix radios and other products that I am not aware of the uses. The business is doing great especially every winter. So I asked him about the business strategies that he is imposing. Of course I know that he graduated from Oxford University with an engineering degree and that must be the main reason why he knows it all even answering customer queries which is someone else's job.
Back to his strategies, he told me just a few. One is advertising that helps in so many ways in persuading new subscribers. He gives business cards to existing customers that are eventually passed through other new customers. His products are durable and of high quality while the labor is so reasonable that customer can even bargain. What a giving man, a trait that makes him successful in his endeavor.
Being nosy, I didn't let him go without showing me a piece of his business card. The card is humble with a unique lay-out and clear wordings. A card that is inexpensive. A card that plays a huge role why he is so successful.
My brother's Church wedding is forthcoming. It's gonna be his second wedding. To give you an overview, he got married in a civil ceremony last year when he got his girl pregnant. So in May, they will be asking for the blessings of everybody, from the family to the priest. Around six more weeks and the big day is yet to take place.
He is so excited, or should I say, anxious and at the same time, frantic. Perfection is what he's up to. He wants every detail to be flawless. Let me tell you one instance that shattered the hell of me. The bridesmaids' sandals or shoes are supposed to be not a big concern but that didn't pass his eyes. He wants it changed and it should be of the same style and color. The wedding invitation which I am in-charged to must be approved by him before the printing process starts. So, I had to send four different lay-outs and waited for his approval before I started making 'em. That was one horrible task of mine. And oh, before I forget, the wedding menu cards were ordered by him too. He is the one who chose the design, paper and everything else's. Arrhhgg...a headache. I don't wanna have a client like him if I were to work as a wedding planner. A groom who acts like a bride. So odd of him.
Regardless of the headaches he give, I am still proud of my brother. Not all men or groom are like him who makes sure everything will end great, if not perfect. A round of applause for you, bro!
Today is Easter Sunday, one of the most celebrated feasts among Christians specifically Roman Catholics. On this very day, Christians are supposed to rejoice Christ's resurrection from the dead, three days after he's crucifixion.
Christ is risen! Let's celebrate! This is what we believe....Jesus Christ is the Savior.
But are all Catholics/Christians aware of the essence of Easter Sunday? Pardon me for coming up to these opinions and observations. I believe others are rejoicing not because Jesus has risen, instead, rejoicing because it's show-off time in parties; TV shows are regularly resumed in the Philippines; beach vacation; and more. We are more excited for the bunny and egg-hunting rather than thanking Jesus for the sacrifices He'd done to save the humankind from sins. I don't even want to imagine what He did and how much He suffered in his time, first century AD, under Pontius Pilate's order. He was sentenced to be scourged and executed on the cross. He endured all the pains for the forgiveness of our sins.
On the other hand, America's Christians/Catholics way of celebrating Lenten Season, Holy Week and Easter Sunday are far from the practices that I am used to in the Philippines. Catholic Church here has it's own tradition, a simple one. No processions to the 12 stations neither no re-enactment of the final agony of Jesus, the carrying of the cross, before crucifixion. Even the re-enactment of the first meeting of Jesus and Mama Mary in the first dawn of Sunday was not observed.
I ain't clean and not claiming as well that I perfectly did something to deserve Jesus' sacrifice. Neither worthy to celebrate and have fun partly because I didn't go to Church on Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Holy Week and today, Easter Sunday. I was not able to participate in my own way, didn't abstain from eating meats nor repent or confess my shortcomings to the priest. Lastly, I am upset of having not celebrated these days with my family in the Philippines where celebrations like these are very much respected and observed. Thus, I am depriving myself of having a fun Sunday.
Meanwhile, I am not feeling well, spiritually sick. My conscience is not at ease right now. Not even in the mood to go out and celebrate with family and friends. What a shame! How I wish all traditions are the same and the world practices one alone, that way, adjustment and appreciation won't be this arduous. Of course, I am wishing for the impossibility. Differences make each one of us unique and so are the various traditions and cultures in the world.

My eyes are really in pain right now after browsing an auction site, FB-ing and updating this blog. Sign of aging perhaps. I had to drag myself away from my PC for a lil rest but this FB kept on pulling me back. Too bad! So instead of giving my full attention to FB, I might as well finish my online tasks. Hence, I am taking an FB break 'til each one of my assignments are submitted.
FB is really not a bad influence in my part. I learned various topics from my friends including beauty secrets, on how they managed to look so fine after having kids and aging. A friend of mine told me that she is using the best rosacea treatment in the market. Her skin is now free from Rosacea, a complicated skin condition which is largely cause by bacteria that results to redness, burning, peeling, etc. of skin.It is just so amazing that she looks younger that anybody in her age.

Captured! Caught her one night dancing in front of the mirror. Look at the spread legs lol. She was doing this gesture that I, myself, can't describe.My 'lil one, my 'lil dancer, singer and dramatic princess. I can not express how much this girl makes me laugh. Even when she's not into what I am imposing to her, she still manage to make me smile with those fierce look and gestures. I am a bad disciplinarian, I mean it. I shouldn't smile or laugh at times when she is being corrected, though, I don't show her my face when I can't help it no more.
Did I mention that she is a dancer? Yep, she is. She can dance real good at nineteen months old. Mind you that she has a choreography. She knows the slow and fast music and that dances in accordance to the rhythm and beat of the song. When a love song or slow music is played, she would just move her shoulders and head. And when the beat is fast, there she goes shaking her booty, lifting a foot or two, move arms and hands from this side to the other and a lot more movements.
Singing is her next discovery. Now, she can definitely sing Pajanimal's Lalluby, Twinkle twinkle little star, the wiggles and elmo's world song. Of course, she can't sing the rest of the song, just the first line or two, with accompanying actions.
The drama? It's an everyday thing. I won't mention no more. I'll just upload videos on Youtube and embed it here for everyone to see.
I am not carrying my own chair or my daughters. Every parent could attest to what I am sharing as most children do the same thing my 'lil one does.

Kim Kardashian has a TV ad. That I found out last night when I watched E! News. She looks hot and sexy wearing those two-piece swimsuit. The question is, is it really the effect of the supplements that she is promoting? Certainly not. I saw her being interviewed on how she got that trimmed body and the supplement is so far from the truth. She said she exercise a lot and never mentioned quick trim burn & cleanse as part of it. Nice try Kim Kardashian.
According to www.quicktrimburnandcleanse.net, Quick Trim does not have the right effects, and it will not help to burn off more weight or flush out toxins. It has no real benefits, and anyone who would try it would only end up suffering side effects. Is this true or not? There is no way I can find out the truth as I, myself, is not taking any of Quick Trim products.
I am hoping that my husband will overlook this post, if not, he'll surely feel bad or upset that I talked about his balding hair. But babe, even when you lose all your hair, I won't ever leave you, I still love you.
The hubby always tells me that I am so lucky for having a thick hair and that I should not take it for granted. That I will never feel what he is going through everytime I see myself in the mirror. He feels he ain't good looking or disgusting just because of that matter. One time he told me that if ever he hits the lottery jackpot, hair loss cures hunting would be one of his priorities other than seeing the world. Hmnn.. and why wait for that time when he can spend his money for a treatment? Or perhaps leave it that way, afterall, it's just a hair.
May I know the acne medicine that you are using, please? I need to know your experience and suggestion badly. I hate it when breakouts occur on my face. I didn't have this when I was still living in the Philippines. It started here the US of A. I already have tried various products from cheap to expensive brands, even the ones that is endorsed by celebrities, the pro with active. Unfortunately, nothing works yet. Such a waste of money and time in my part. They said that the weather causes breakouts which I believe so. The worst scenario would be going to see a dermatologist which I hope not. I can not spend my arm and leg just for this matter.

In my previous post, dated March 29th, 2010, I shared about the activities that my family had on that day. The hubby and I with the 'lil one were on the road for a road trip. We went from one store to the other, from a friend's house to the next and dropped by at in-laws' respective houses for a visit and chit chats.
At the thrift store, I bought a couple of outdoor cushions for our old but still functional patio furniture. The colorful cushions along with flowering plants really made a difference. From dry and dead looking to warm and cozy feeling. Small change and inexpensive things brought the life back. The 'lil girl loves to sit on her tiny chair while watching the birds eat and fly. Of course, mama and dada are just around watching her every move. A happy family in a pretty patio.
