What's with Facebookters posting and tagging nude photos and videos?
Every now and then, I come across these crudely indecent photos and videos on my friends profiles. There was a photo of naked boys standing by the falls. Whoever took that photo and shared it online is such a disgrace. Those kids are innocent and had no idea what's gonna happen next. They just smiled on the camera showing everything they have. I wonder how many stupids were laughing and how many child abuser were satisfied upon viewing the photo. No offense meant for those who distributed the photos loosely but I reported each one that I saw with a hope that FB admin would exercise its laid policy. As a parent and a woman, what I have done is conformable to morality and is a fair action.
Facebook is a networking site flocked by members of all ages. Not a perfect place for salaciousness. In fact, I have a seven-year-old friend in my friend list. The obscene materials may be funny in the minds of non-malicious members but not for those who have concupiscence behavior. Worst is that, it could stimulate an objectionable circumstance. Pornography/nudity has its own place. Not publicly published on Facebook or other networking sites.
What annoys me most is that those photos were photoshop'd by these computer techie Filipinos (my own) who are (supposed to be) morally raised class of race being one with highest numbers of Catholic/Christian nations in the globe. So embarrassing to think that my fellow bloods are so into it. It makes me want to get rid of Facebook. Unfortunately, I can not make my wishful action done. I have tons of friends in the Philippines that I just reunited with on Facebook. Bloggers alike also gather on the site.
The world wide web is the crib of pornography. I may not be able to stop its rapid growth but I am more happy to have done what an ideal citizen should do. Report!

Here's what I found out this morning. I was browsing this website, www.ecomelectronics.com and saw various inexpensive products such as Remote Controlled Luggage Locator for only $9.95 with free shipping. This is a great help to easily find the luggage on the airport baggage carousel and many other places by just pressing the button. How cool is that? So convenient for a traveler with a baby with so much stuff. I'll keep this in my travel list. Getting one before the trip to the Philippines.
With ecomelectronics deal of the day, finding great electronics stuff with a price so reasonable is a sure thing. Visit the website I mentioned above or simply click the link above to be redirected to the page quickly. I already bookmarked the page, do the same for future electronics shopping

What I want to receive this Valentines Day? Hmn...let me think...Oh yeah, I want a laptop. Though I am thankful having a desktop to be a functional blogger, I still prefer having a laptop in my hands. I would say that I need it. Having a one who screams for mama invariably holds me back from going to the house' office. There are times when I couldn't stay on the computer for an hour. She is always on my butt wherever I go. If she dislikes the place, she pulls me to the living area where she loves to stay other than her bedroom. So the best thing for both of us is for me to stay in her vicinity that I could give my whole eyes on her. For now, I can bear having no laptop. The next time my desktop breaks, oh no! ain't telling I am getting a new one.

Had a piece of green mango with spicy sauteed shrimp paste one drooling night. Sooo delicious! Now tell me if you are drooling by just viewing the photo. lol Sorry to spoil you! I love to share though.
I can not stay long on the computer. My eyes and head are bothering me for days now. It must be from not wearing my eyeglasses for a long time. I just hate wearing that stuff.
Be back!

The hubby always reminds me that if he goes first because of his job, I will never have to worry about the lil one's financial needs. His whole life insurance is going to support everything that she needs. After selling the house, he said I could bring the lil one back to the Philippines and live their like millionairess for the rest of our lives.
But of course I never dreamed of that. I keep on telling the hubby that both of us should raise our kid. Not just me alone nor him alone. Parenting should be done by two individuals respecting and loving each other.
I am lucky to have the best husband in the world. He may not have the tons of money like others have but he provides well. He is a good father to the lil one showing no vices at all. The lil one is so inlove with his father. What a best scenario everytime they are together playing and learning. Just a happy family that melts my heart everyday.

Introvert. That's how some residents of the US described me. An honest response, YOU ARE SO WRONG! Yes it true that I am not implicating myself into so many occasions and gatherings here. For so many times, I have given the intricacy of my absence. Yet others are still digging a huge hole to bury me in. Can't they just leave me alone? The fact that they are spreading and telling false accusations causes vexation in my part.
Now I can not lock my tongue in. Here are the reasons why I am not often seen by so many of you :
1. Driver's license. We all know how important this is in America. It ain't like Philippines that we can just go anywhere we want being that transportation is so accessible. Here, it is so necessary to obtain one. Since I don't have my DL yet, I rely so much on the hubby to drive for me which totally depends on his availability also. I hate to ask anyone to come pick me up and bring me back home afterwards with a baby. Too much work!
2. Invitation. I barely get it when they do plan for a gathering. I understand that they are skeptical to invite me or whatsoever because I mostly failed the previous get-together. So be it.
3. Baby. Having one is no joke at all especially the ones that I blessedly have. The 'lil one is full of fussiness in her. GOing somewhere else becomes arduous within just an hour of stay. Screaming and kicking are the 'lil one's traits when she dislikes a certain place and if she doesn't get her way.
4. Alcohol and cigarettes. These I truly opposed. I hate to say this but I don't wanna be around with people who have vices. Stinks and not a good influence to my daughter.
5. Friends. Have not found the friends I wanna bond with. The friends who are similar to what I had in Gensan. I prefer simple yet sooo funny. Someone who can ride on to my jokes and craziness. Someone who can make me laugh so hard and laugh with me. So far, of so many that I met here, nobody possesses the qualities I am looking for. Most of them are so Westernized. I am picky and have always been.
6. Paid blogging. This occupies some of my time. I'd rather spend my time online and earn a bit or money that waste it going to nonesence.
I act so different here. I know that. It so happen that I am not fully accustomed to the American lifestyle. My past is holding me back to move fast forward. If only these people know the life I had in the Philippines. Oh I how I miss everybody there. They are the ones who could tell that LIRA is not an introvert person. That LIRA is fun to be with, the life of the party! That LIRA has tons of friends waiting for her to be home. I am affected when people say things against me. Reading all the old mails and testimonials from the individuals whom I spent time with make me feel I am an incredible person.

I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to insurance per se. Thus, there is no reason for me to compel my readers or anybody else around here which of which insurance company they should go for. 'Til now, I have trouble speaking to my insurance's customer representative. She couldn't tell me the exact information that I want regarding my hospital bills. It seems the insurance company did not pay half of the bills as per policy.
So if you are scouting for an insurance, it can be dental insurance, health insurance, life term insurance, etc. please make it a point to know what you are getting for the price you are paying. Don't be a fool like me who just accepted what the hubby had found before. There are so many insurance agents in the country such as NC health plans. I guess I have to check out it's NC health insurance by visiting the website, www.nchealthplans.com or by calling toll-free 888-765-5400. Doing it later once the lil one is asleep.

Uhaaaaaaaaaaa...!!! Found Philippine dried mangoes in Walmart. It's around $5 a pack including tax though. Ouch! tore a hole in my pocket! So so so expensive!
I wanted to just refrain from putting a pack in my shopping cart but the drooling urge stepped in. Yes, I was able to buy, just a pack.
Later that week, I went to the Filipino store and bought tons of it! Drooling won!
One thing for sure is that I would be sleeping with bunch of fresh green Philippine mangoes in my hometown this coming May. More so, I'll stock up a box of dried mangoes before leaving the Philippines. How about that?
Can't wait! Missing mangoes a lot more while posting. I dunno where it's gonna lead me...I might bug the hubby to drive me to Walmart just for this freakin dried mangoes. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! I am getting crazy!

What's with Colonoxy why I have been hearing it around here? I asked everybody I know whose into it. One of the hubby's relative told me that it is a safe pill intended for natural intestinal and body detoxification.
I am tempted to give this a try but skeptical to push through. My system is so week when it comes to capsules, tablets or any kind of medicine.
Anyway, if you are one of those who take colonoxy and wanna save more bucks, I want you to check out dietpill.net for an incredible offer. You could save up to $100 when you buy colonoxy bottles in bulk. Get free shipping as well for orders over $75.

Acne is one of the most common skin problems of the youth and adults alike. It aggravates everyone who is inflicted by it. Embarrassment and pain are just among the few conditions that a person would. As what the experts say, acne's occurrence is often incontrollable. On the contrary, it can be controlled and eventually get rid of through proper treatments.
Variations of acne treatment that are prescribed by dermatologists though expect the price to cost a fortune. Otherwise get the over-the-counter medications which is inexpensive. To treat acne, the most common method is topical and this is by using cream or cleanse on the affected areas. Oral method such as acne pills intake containing antibiotic is opted by some.

Diet pills don't work! Who says no? Actually it does. Of so many diet pills in the market, finding the best one that would work for a certain body system is not just a rough but a long journey. Most are financially and emotionally affected when results are not seen.
I guess the best thing one should do before making a diet pill purchase it to read reviews. I am certain that it would ease up the process of trying and searching. The website, www.dietpillcomparison.net is the venue if information about diet pill that works is needed. On the website, top diet pills are posted, pact with information including prices, manufacturer, etc. These top recommended diet pills underwent review process. A combination of customer reviews and in-depth expert’s analysis completed the up-to-date information.

So there is a way to slow down the signs of aging. I am not getting any younger. Two and a half years more and I will be in my 30s. When I reach that certain age, my body would start to slow down the production of growth and cell hormone. When the hgh or human growth hormone starts to produce slowly, signs of aging would conquer. Thanks to www.humangrowthhormone.net for the information.
But there is nothing to bother. HGH intake would somehow reverse the process of aging. There are two means on how (as far as I know). One is through injection that costs an arm and a leg. The other one is through supplement intake, the most ideal one if money is the issue. I found several brands of HGH at www.humangrowthhormone.net. The website listed the top HGH with medical information according to experts.
I still have a lot to read about HGH. Focus on the topic will be prioritized in time.

Two and half years more and I will reach my 30s. I never anticipated that digits then. But now I am a 'lil bothered as I get older. My skin shows too many imperfections. Blemishes, occasional breakouts and uneven skin tone are some that I have trouble controlling with. Having a very sensitive skin makes it so arduous and is such a long journey for me to find the right product.
I have been seeing a lot of skin care infomercials on television along with the success stories of select consumers. But giving it a try is a risk for me, both financially and emotionally. But of course I need not to generalize everything. Maybe Proactiv is different. The proactiv reviews at www.proactivreviews.org are very encouraging and it makes me want to give it a try. The product might work for my skin or maybe not. After all, if it doesn't clear my skin, I still can get my money back being that 30-day money guarantee is offered.

Two months ago, I lost a lot of my pregnancy fat. But the Holidays and Christmas gatherings messed me up. I gained not just a pound but three or four pounds back. It is disappointing that I was already on track but then again, I fell. I need to lose weight. Thus, my plan should be religiously done.
Beginning of this year, I started focusing on my weight loss program again. THis time around, I am certainly putting myself into it. No more but and if. Just drag myself in to the right direction. I am giving myself four to five months to achieve my goal weight. Once successful, my story will be read amongst the many weight loss success stories online.
My technique is not through diet pills or any weight loss supplements. My system refused such when I tried it back then. Therefore, I am doing it the best way I can -- eat healthy and exercise.

In my previous post, I mentioned about going to New Orleans for my biometrics appointment, a process of fingerprints scanning in which an Immigration officer/personnel takes it through a certified high-end machine with a computer in coherent to Immigration laws. As an immigrant, I had to underwent two biometrics since I applied for my Resident card.
So last Friday, the hubby and I with the lil one headed our way to USCIS New Orleans. THe biometrics didn't take long. It went so well. Around 10 minutes, the three of us came out from the office bringing the success and a hope for a smooth process. I am so pleased with the service and the attitude of the accommodating officer. He is so soft spoken and handled each scanning gently yet fastly.
I so wanted to ask him if there is an upcoming interview for me or I would just sit and wait for my Greencard to arrive in mail. My bad! But I guess I made a right decision. I shouldn't interfere nor be nosy about it, otherwise, USCIS might hold it against me (if I am right). Glad I zipped my mouth that time.
If USCIS is satisfied with the documents I sent, I shouldn't be getting any RFEs. Otherwise, the process will take longer than expected and I might not going to receive my GC in May, the target month of Philippine vacation. In the other hand, I am confident that I did everything correctly in accordance to the instructions on the website.

Once the hubby told me that his old computer was attacked by a certain virus. I knew for sure that the Limewire he purchased online brought the virus in the hard drive. That ended all his files! Everything are no longer accessible. Not to mention photos, videos, documents, music etc. The worst scenario was the virus affected not only the hard drive but the monitor as well. That time, he know nothing on how to secure online backup. So tell me how much it cost him to get a new one. A lot of money involved!
Now he is into that program again. I told him to make it a point to secure all the files before everything turns into nothing. Slowly, he is doing my request while saving all the music he wants. It is a good move! I did secure all the photos and his job is to make a back up file for the videos and music.

When can I go to FLorida? Just one of the many questions I have in mind. Eventually it is going to happen yet there is no definite plans. It might be this year, next year or the next. Who knows?!
Actually, Florida is just a four-five hour drive from home. It ain't that far but it is stressful when the lil one is around. One thing for sure though. When the lil gets a lil bit bigger or when she's four or five years old already, sure will the hubby and I are bringing her to orlando Florida for a Disney World adventure. It's gonna be a great gift for her and I can not wait for that day to come.
For now, I am not driving that far or bring her to miles of miles away adventure. THe lil one is a treasure. Making her day stressful is the last thing I would do.

Women have one thing in common and there is no need for you or me to make a guess. Most of us love shopping!!!
Oh yes! I enjoy this certain time not just for myself but for my entire family. It is somewhat like a stress treatment after hours of hours of tending the lil one and for being cooped up in the house.
So basically, when I go to shops or malls, I make sure I get myself a pair of shoes or a blouse perhaps. It doesn't have to be expensive. I have to rely on what I can afford. Usually I pick stuff off the clearance rack.
Now I am also crazy when it comes to shoes, boots and other footwear. My tiny foot is picky though. Durability and design matter to me and price doesn't. My little one deserves something expensive and durable, too such as clarks shoes. Thus, most of her shoes are bought at www.footwearetc.com. What else can I ask for? No sales tax! Free shipping! Low price. How about that? Just being a wise buyer you think?

The road is rough and long to become a legal US immigrant. I have been through a lot of waiting, processing and nerve wrecking every time I submit applications to USCIS.
The first step, K-1 Visa was arduous and yet worth it when the application was approved. After all submitting various documents to support the application and being tortured with questions by a strict US Consul, my heart begun breathing again. When I got the visa and flew in here (US), the same scenario. I had to submit all the necessary documents for the application of 2-yr greencard or temporary resident card. Next thing I know I had to appear in the USCIS office in New Orleans for biometrics and interview to conform the legality of my marriage. The difference is that it ain't as scary as the first step and I got my greencard after 7 months of waiting. Everything went well but that is not the end of the journey.
After two years of having the 2-yr greencard, 10-yr-GC or application to remove conditions is next. I submitted my application on the first week of December last year. Three weeks after, I received a biometrics notice in mail.
So tomorrow, I am heading to New Orleans for my biometrics appointment with the lil one and the hubby. It's gonna be an early day for the three of us. Poor hubby he ain't getting enough sleep. He works at night and he might have a short sleep or not at all tomorrow.
Hoping that this third journey to citizenship application would end up smoothly.

This review is a result of a feedback campaign by Respiratory Guard. As one of the recipients, I have to give my honest opinion about the product I received.
Early last month of 2009, my family caught a common flu. I know for sure that the hubby brought in the virus from the people he worked with. Since the lil's one immune system is ain't that develop, the virus stayed in her for nearly six days. It was a panic period for me. Had tons of nerve-wrecking nights when she couldn't sleep and won't eat nor take her medicine.
When the lil got better, the virus didn't take long to attack me. Good thing that my immune system fought and ended the battle in just a matter of two days.
The flu season is over in my own family but the in-laws have acquired the virus. Both of them are sick. I think it's because they've been to a friend's house who happened to be sick before them. The two packs of respiratory guard lozenger for flu cure that I received in mail are in their hands already. It came in so late a three weeks after I got better so I handed it to them the day I received the package expecting that it would somehow strengthen their weak immune system and get better sooner. So far, the flu cure does not serve the purpose. The old people are still hating their flu. The mom-in-law phoned earlier saying she's giving the flu cure back to me tomorrow. Alright, I'll just keep it for future use. Hopefully, flu virus would spare my lil one this year.
