Baked leche flan

I know it's fattening (lol) but I hate to dump the egg yolks (leftover from the other night's angel food cake). Since I am watching my weight, I just eat a tiny slice a day. I have plenty of slices in the fridge that I think would just go into waste in the next few days if I can't eat it all.

My leche flan is so different when it comes to the process of cooking it. Most leche flans are steamed and this one is baked in the oven for 1 1/2 hour.



This dessert is perfect for gatherings and other parties. It's so easy to prepare too provided that you have 12 egg yolks, vanilla extract, evaporated milk or Vit. D milk, condensed milk and sugar for caramel.
