Happy New Year! May we all have a prosperous one for the rest of the year.
I am the only one who is awake in our humble home. My daughter and husband are in bed already. Dannielle sleeps around 5 in the afternoon. HUbby has to as well for he is working too early tomorrow. Oh what a great start of the year lol.
There are too many things to look forward to this year. We are excited for Dannielle. We have a lot of plans for her to enjoy. What excites me more is that after this year, we are going back to the Philippines for a visit.
I might take a nap after posting this entry and wake up later when fireworks starts popping.
Once more, Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! May we all have a prosperous one for the rest of the year.

When purchasing an item whether online or in-store, do you take your time reading it's features or description and of course, read any reviews from other customers?
In my part, yes I do. I make it a point to understand each word and if it is not well described, I call or send a message to the seller asking certain questions. I know I am kind of a meticulous person. If you believe it is my flaw, then I could care less. As you see or read here, my family is not living in a world of luxury. What we earn is what we eat. Spending money for something is being tracked. As much as possible we want to get what we paid for.
My lil story has a relation as to why product reviews make sense. If you want to purchase a domain from any web hosting provider, you have to consider and take a deep look on what it has to offer you. That is why I am suggesting you to check out webhostingreport.com and browse the reviews of the experts and customers. THis website will give you comparison of prices, top web hosting providers and more.
Again, the website is webhostingreport.com.

For the rest of the day, I was cleaning the house. An appraiser is coming over tomorrow to check the value of our property. I am not done yet. Still have 2 bathrooms to clean as well as the kitchen.
This is stressing me a bit. Supposedly, it should be done on Friday as what the agent had said before.
If only...I am a superwoman!

For some reason, my mind came across of me being huge. I was thinking of where to purchase the right clothes for me. I do believe that it will be arduous for me because of my height.
I am glad I have no trouble looking for my wardrobe. But...I have one flaw which I wish don't have. My breasts cup is D. The size is enough but then looking for the cup ain't. I am way too picky as well of the styles.
For plus size women, there is an e-store which sells plus size lingerie of various styles. It is best if you come check out lingeriediva.com for that.

A car is a necessity. Hence, having one requires maintenance and of course, the number one budget eater...the insurance.
Our truck is not fully paid yet that is why the bank requires full coverage of insurance which really costs a fortune. It is for that reason that we can not purchase a car for me yet. Once the payment is over, I can now drive my own vehicle.
Anyway, if you are looking for an auto insurance, I suggest you browse 2insure4less.com. For sure you will get quotes and a cheaper rate as possible.

Selling little items is one of my part-time job. I do business online to earn a bit. Sometimes it is kinda frustrating especially if some items won't sell on the first listing. For everybody to know, listing an item has a corresponding fee. Once the item has sold, again seller has to pay for the percentage.
There are times when I think of halting and just focus on blogging but there is this instinct in me to go on. Yes, I am still holding with it. Still selling and trying to understand my own business world.
Speaking of business and if you want to be in such industry, here is a small business opportunity for you. Check out Smallbusinesssale.com for more details.

Next year will be more meaningful to me. We are going to the Philippines to visit my family. I want to spend more time with them. Let them see my daughter for the first time and of course bond with us.
I have a lot of plans on that coming vacation. Beach hopping is of course included in the itinerary. I've been wanting to see and feel the blue water for a long time.
But one of the hardest part of such is packing. I am sure will bring with us three or more luggages. I already have one Samsonite luggage and will be buying more later.

The year 2008 is almost over. Few days from now and we are going to face a new era in our lives. Time flew so quick. This year is more exciting for my family knowing that our daughter is getting big and showing us some funny gestures.
Before that, let us take advantage first of the year-end or clearance sale offered by almost stores nationwide. We can shop either online or in the nearest stores around.
Speaking of "sale", check out Buy.com today. Select items are on sale now for a very affordable price. We all know that this e-store sells the cheapest price as possible but to take discounts with us on our purchase is a grace.

Cold season strikes again. In my defense, cooking bulalo or beef soup is one of my key to feel warmed without the use of the heater in a couple of minutes.
The hubby likes it as well. He just put aside the vegetables and just take the meats lol.
Adding corn, onions, bell pepper and vegies give this dish a very delightful taste.
Here is how I prepare mine.
1. Cook beef and corn on a cob with broth just until fork-tender. Remove beef and the corn from broth but reserve broth for later.
2. Heat a teaspoon of oil and saute garlic and onions until limp. Add in tenderized beef and simmer for about 20 min.
3. Heat oil and stir-fry vegetables just until crisp-tender. Serve it as a side dish to the meat.

The world has given us the freedom to choose of what can make us happy. Others choose to stay in a secluded place with a paradise around. FOr some, traveling from one place to another give them the excitement and the happiness only them can explain.
As for me, I love both. Though I am not staying in a secluded place as I say, hence I had tried once and loved it. I still am thinking of coming back to such place and be with the nature. Traveling is by far one of the most ideal way to see the world especially if you travel by land. It is best if you do it by riding in your own RV.
Speaking of RV, if you are looking for one either for rental or purchase, RV Sales California, is the place to search. Altaman is one of the largest dealership in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. They carry Winnebago brand which is the bestselling motor homes all throughout the country for over 7 years. This website offers a huge number of RVs of different models of pre-owned and new. THere is an internet pricing today so check Altmans.com today while it is still available.

I'd like to extend my greatest thanks to those who showed sympathy when I was grieving. It took me this long to appreciate it as I still can not accept it fully. To refresh you, my previous post can be can read here.
It is arduous if you loss a great person. He was the best Uncle I had. There are so many memories he left in my heart and mind -- our laughters and joys, his unconditional love towards his family, his kindness and respect to others who are not mainly related to him etc. Too many to say... Indeed he is remembered.
On his journey towards the everlasting life, I thought of my mother's common phrase. Everytime there is a misunderstanding between my siblings which sometimes leads to hitting each other, my mother would always say "my brother (our late Uncle) never hurt (physically) us. I never paid attention to it back then. Undeniably, we remained to be rough til we grew apart. Hence, we have changed.
Now that my Uncle is gone, his goodness retains in me. That I won't hit my daughter. That I will be a good example. That I will be like him.
It's sad, yet it ain't my will. No more sorrows for him, yet a triumph against the cruel world he lived in. His battle had come to an end.

I have traveled across the country. I am telling you guys that was tough. It started from searching for plane ticket itself to traveling for almost twenty-three hours. I had that much of a hassle because I had less information of what are the best websites to browse to. Also, it was my first time to travel that far.
It is for that reason that I am bookmarking flighttohouston.com now. I already have browsed it and find it very helpful in my next trip with my husband and daughter. Sooner or later, we are heading ourselves to Houston, Texas. We live quite far from that state so we will be needing plane tickets. Besides, we have a daughter who is too young to travel for long hours. Yes we can travel by land but then again, safety is our concern. The website I mentioned above will give me links on where to get cheap Flights To Houston.
I just want to make it a point that flighttohouston.com has links of sponsors offering discount flights to Houston, Texas alone. This directory saves you a lot of time from searching and browsing different websites.
Just so you need plane tickets to Houston, check-out flighttohouston.com for that. Bookmark it as well for your future use.

It is 8:57 in the evening. Few more hours and Christmas day is over.
Tomorrow we are going to start counting down... year 2009. New year, new us!
Anyway, let me ask you once again. How did you celebrate your Christmas? Mine was so simple. The family just stayed home for the rest of the day. We slept 'til noon. In the afternoon, we opened each others gifts.
My daughter Dannielle wore her pretty Santa dress. She looked so adorable and precious with it. Later on, she was so fussy. I figured out she was not comfortable with it so I had to take it off her. After which, she was smiling and laughing. Now, she's in bed sound asleep.
My husband gave me a very important thing. I already have one but I complained then coz I can barely manipulate it. So he got me a new one which is really really awesome. I am not saying what it is wink. Just a clue...it is for our ( me and daughter) safety when he is not around.

In a forum where I am one of the active members, I often read about blog lay-outs. Bloggers who ask help on how to beautify their blogs themselves or how to use some of the features. Sometimes it is kinda annoying especially if the questions ask are self-explanatory or are very easy to manage. Though I have to extend my patience and be more compassionate as everybody is not created equal. There are techie people and there are not as well.
There are also times when I receive messages on my blogs asking me to help them figure out their blogs lay-out and where to get them. Yes, I answer some of it depending on my capacity. If it is about Wordpress, sorry for I am not so accustomed to it. So from now on, if they want cool wordpress blog themes, I am going to suggest to visit freethemelayouts.com for free wordpress themes. That way, it won't be too much of a hassle on my part.
I am actually browsing the website I mentioned above and found pretty good themes. There are a lot of highly designs to choose from. I say that this is a must visit website for bloggers who are looking for free Wordpress themes.

Ever wonder what are the best books to give this Holiday?
Here are some of the most recommended by booksellers. There are four categories to choose -- fiction/nonfiction, food, coffee table books and children's book . This information is courtesy of MSNBC, one of the websites where I read and gather news from around the world.
For fiction or non-fiction, any of the following is a must buy and of course one of the bests :
- "Sing Them Home" by Stephanie Kallos (Atlantic Monthly Press)
- "The Little Book" by Selden Edwards (Dutton Publishers)
- "Wesley the Owl" by Stacey O'Brien (Free Press)
- "Faberge's Eggs: The Extraordinary Story of the Masterpieces That Outlived an Empire" by Tony Faber (Random House)
- "Roads to Quoz" by William Least Heat-Moon (Little, Brown and Co.)
- "The House at Riverton" by Kate Morton (Atria)
- "Goldengrove: A Novel" by Francine Prose (Harper)
- "In Hovering Flight: A Novel" by Joyce Hinnefeld (Unbridled Books)

Jewelries? Just one of my weaknesses. Every now and then, I lead my mouse browsing and clicking every jewelry online store I stumbled upon.
Since Holiday shopping is over and done, we have another celebration to prepare. It's a special day for lovers alike -- Valentines Day. Part of that again is gift giving. We have to go shopping for our husbands or wives and partners in life.
For men, I have a suggestion to make which I am very certain would amazed your wives or partners. I log on to Ross-simons.com earlier and found Jewelry Diamond Earrings. THere are a lot of styles and highly designs diamond jewelries combined with metals and stones. You won't believe me if I tell you this...their pricing is very reasonable compared to other e-stores. Give the website a visit and check it yourself.
Personally, I love to wear .20 ct. t.w. Diamond Earring In Sterling Silver. The design is like a tear drop earrings. The length is an inch which I prefer to wear. It is not heavy. Besides, my daughter loves to pull everything she holds so this is terribly perfect. Also, it comes with an elegant Ross-Simons presentation box per purchase. Isn't it fabulous?
Check it today for discounts and free shipping.

Thank you Mommy Jerlalou for this cutie tag.
For everybody to know, this is one of my favorite stuff toys. Actually, I am wishing to receive one this Holiday. I want a huge stuff toy. More like bigger than me? Naa... it can be. Though I will accept and appreciate it regardless of size.
Ain't that bear pretty?

I would say that life has been so relevant to me since I have my baby. She is the best gift I ever received in my entire being. All the achievements I had in the past are not comparable to what I feel now.
With all the happiness I am enjoying, my fear is for such to be ended too soon. I know you, as a parent also feels the same way I do. There is this full space in my heart that can not be filled in by anything in this world but my child alone.
For the love, care and everything, it is wise to think of the future. There are instances that may happen which can stop our lives from moving on. I am talking about the diseases that we may have whether we like it or not. That is why C'elle has a great news for us.
Through the women's menstrual stem cells which is found on our menstrual blood, saving our own life and our families is probably the best miracle. C'Elle provides women with the unique opportunity to collect and preserve vital stem cells that can be harvested from the body's menstrual fluid during the menstrual cycle. According to studies, stem cells unique properties and characteristics is similar to bone marrow and embryonic stem cells which is very useful for our own future medical therapies including our siblings, children and other relatives. It can possibly treat major diseases like diabetes, heart disease, stroke, MS, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's as well as possible cosmeceutical applications like anti-aging and wound-healing.
For that, I am encouraging you not to waste your menstrual blood instead save it through C'elle for the future.
I will end this post with a question..."Do you know someone in your family who wants to receive a gift from C'elle? If so, let me know.

It's been 4 days since I haven't updated this blog. Lately, I feel like hating to browse nor think of what to share with you guys here.
I take too much sleep these days which causes my headache. It's just too good to sleep or take a nap coz of the weather. Love curling in the bed lol.
TOmorrow, I dunno what the day will bring me. I might sleep and sleep again or go somewhere else.
SO it's past 11 in the evening here. I have to go now.

Snow in South Louisiana is very rare in history. According to my husband, it happens once every 8 to 10 years.
December 11 was my first snow experience, conspicuously. On that morning, my husband woke me up saying that it's snowing. I did not believe him at first as he is full of crap. So I had to open the door to find out myself and wala! The ground was so white. It was really snowing!
The snow lasted for about a day and a half.
So I am sharing some of the memorable shots we have.

My head is in pain now. I dunno exactly the reason why but I am thinking it's because of a long hours of sleep today.
These past few days, I am experiencing insomnia. I can not sleep much at nights which causes me to sleep on days. It started when my Uncle died. Maybe because I still can't believe and accept that he's gone. Though I am trying to and praying for his soul. I know sooner or later I will be.
Anyway, please check out websiteoptimization.com and browse about the conversion rate optimization increases website response rates by 50% to 900%. I think this is a great information for us.

I definitely would return it. No matter how much I want or need it, still I do not own such huge amount. If given a reward, I will accept it but there is an "IF". If the money I found is intended for a necessity like hospitalization, then I won't.
Anyway, I am sharing this because I just read an article regarding the honesty of a 75-year-old woman who found a dazzling $97,000 in a Cracker Barrel restroom. THis is a one-of-a-kind incident. Not everybody has the honesty she possess.

If we are going to go out for a vacation, one of the consideration is that the place should be child-friendly. It is because we have a daughter who dominates our hearts and minds.
Next year, we are planning for an out of town or perhaps a vacation. We have no definite plans yet or whatsoever on which state to visit. Though we have our list of places.
One is to visit New Jersey. We are considering it partly because of the best attraction it has to offer which is the Morey’s Piers and Beachfront waterpark. I sure will we will enjoy the place especially my daughter. There are also hotels and motels which really would meet our needs. There are so much fun things to do in New Jersey apart from going to the waterpark.
Speaking of Morey's Piers, I just read about the Holiday sale they are offering now. The said sale is going to end this January 9, 2009 which gas the following choices :
- Season Passes For 2009
- Holiday Tickets
- Holiday MOR-EZ Ticket Re-charge
- Gift Cards

I have posted this on my other blog. I just want to let my friends know what is happening within and beyond me. It's past 2am here and still I am wide awake. THis phase of my life is disturbing me. I am sad yet happy at the same time. Sad cos I won't be seeing him; happy coz he is not suffering anymore.
I dunno exactly how to share it here. All I know is that my heart is broken. Lonesome for someone who was so dear to me. Someone who believed in my capabilities. A person who became my fan -- who used to laugh and smile to every jokes I cracked.
Now, I am regretful. Yes, I happened to talk to him on the phone about two weeks ago and yet, that was not enough. Before I left my home country, Philippines, I did not stop by his house to say goodbye nor see him (for the last time). I was thinking then it's better not to see anyone as it would just hurt my poor heart.
Ahhh...it's arduous to think. I want to go back home. I want to see him for the last days of his remains in this world. I want to spend time with him though he can not see me any longer. I want to make him smile and laugh. I want him to be alive.
It's so painful to say....my Angkol (Uncle) Boy passed away yesterday. He was 56 years old. Though he was not that young yet not that old to leave. I understand he was sick -- asthma , the cause of his sudden death. He suffered from it for ages and lose too much weight.
I am sobbing as I compose this entry. Still can't believe this is happening.
A man born with a giving heart is now with our Father's hands. I am sorry I wasn't able to see you then. Never in my mind it occurred that I won't be seeing you on my visit.
May you rest in peace, Angkol.

Congratulations, Manny! Now, you are more than a hero and a celebrity in the Philippines.
I am proud of this man's achievement. He is from General Santos City, the same city where I grew up. He's like a Cinderella man -- from rugs to riches. The will and hard work to succeed rewarded him towards fame.
People around here said he can't beat dela Hoya. I was bragging that Pacman is the best of the best of this generation and he proved it. Everybody was thinking that dela Hoya is unbeatable but what now? Where does he stands? Nothing!
I am still going to read the whole story and watch the videos of his latest fight.

The video above is a product endorsement of Steve Nash, a professional basketball player who plays point guard for one of the top teams of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Honestly, I have a negative impression about him upon viewing the first few seconds of the video. He is just bragging about himself. Lately I realized he has a point. He is just one of the finest and great basketball player in this generation. A man who is perfectly chosen to be the spokesperson for Vitamin Water.
Anyway, I have tasted this product two days ago. My impression? Real great. True to what Steve Nash testament.

For the past seven months, my cellphone has the same ring tone. I downloaded one before but it costs me a fortune. The network company billed me for several months despite the fact that I only used the service once. I just noticed it lately, my bad. Who would believe that Hitler was really a good man after all he'd done?
But a 105-year-old singer whose past as a singer in Nazi Germany told a Dutch television show that Adolf Hitler was a "good guy." Maybe Hitler was good to him because they both are into arts but not to those who suffered in his hands.
I did not read the whole book about Hitler's story. The diary of Anne is enough of him. Never want to know either the details of the crimes he'd done years ago.

Last week, I received e-mails from my teacher in college and ex-classmate. At first, I was delighted of the thought of the first paragraph of the message. The next paragraphs? you wouldn't want to read it perhaps. They are soliciting for their Christmas party and Thanksgiving for two of their students have passed the board exams.
Whaaaaat? Do I have to spend for their fun? The point is, I am striving as well just to earn and they are just going to spend the money which I have worked hard of having (if in case I'll send) for nonsense. I was in school before and never in the history I asked someone to spend for me nor for my activities.
If they can not back it up, then I guess just leave it to where they can. My family especially my mother back home is my second priority and not those other people who have done nothing in my life.

If you think moving is that easy, then you are wrong. I have done it once and don't want to do it again. It was one of the most stressful tasks I had. We had to pack all our things from pieces to pieces. Our budget was tight that time so we did not hire somebody to help us from moving.
So if you are planning to move, do not forget to hire a labor. For a lesser stress, better get help from moving companies. They are experts in that field and would do the jobs professionally. YOu may check out CarMovers.com for that. Get your free auto auto shipping and car transport resources & information.
