Hurricane Gustav was so cruel to us. We were out of most everything we need.
Three days after Gustav passed, our electricity and cable went back on. After a few hours of enjoying the internet and cable, Cox Communications cut it down(cable). I dunno what's up with them. Some said they are prioritizing the Baton Rouge area which is very unfair for Ascension Parish subscribers.
We were pissed off with a very poor service.
With that, we have decided to switch to EATEL, a local provider here. We should have done this a long time ago. We could have enjoyed the days while Gustav was messing around by watching TV and surfing the net. EATEL never went off service while COX is and maybe still not til now.
Wednesday, Sept. 10th , EATEL's technician installed everything and here I am now, back to my normal days -- blogging and watching shopping networks on TV.

My baby, Dannielle has too many pictures since she was born. It's been more that two months but we have not framed at least one of her photos. We have been to stores to look for unique picture frames that will really fit her precious smiles and cuteness. Hence, we can not find the perfect one.

School for me was fun.
I am filled with great memories when I was still schooling. Every first day of school, my classmates would wait for my arrival at the gate. We would then talk about our vacation activities while walking towards the classroom.
I had lots of friends from my classmates to schoolmates. If only there was a Congeniality Award before, I could have bagged it. I knew most of the teachers and students. The school's population was nearly a thousand by the way. Not to mention the school staff.
It was more fun when we shared and showed our school supplies. My classmates and I would take out everything we had from our bag. We had cute notebooks, pencils, crayons, paper, sharpener, lunch box and more.
Of course, my mom took care everything before from preparing our things to snacks. She had different Color labels for me and my siblings. She'd label our belongings with our name, grade number and our address. In case any is stolen and found by an honest student, we still can get it back. The label was so much of use for my gym uniform as well. My mother labeled my shirt and pants with my name to avoid mixing it up with my classmates'.

After almost 4 days of being inactive, here I am rocking again. Gustav left a massive destruction here in our area. I am thankful that we didn't get any scar from Gustav unlike other residents here who lost their homes. Our problem was just the electricity and took days for them to fix due to fallen trees and electric posts.
I will post pictures of how much Gustav took the freedom of the Southern people(affected only).
