It's time for general cleaning!
When there's no job opportunity, cleaning the house is the next priority. Today, I make it a point to take care of our lil house. I do clean it during weekdays but when we talk of how thorough...my ears are closed (lol). Weekends really give me more time.
Our nest ain't really that dusty and messy or anything but it needs a human touch once in a while. I just have to sweep and mop the floor, vacuum the carpet, dust furnitures and appliances, get rid or throw trash and wash our clothes. I am done with the bathrooms the other day though I still have to give a lil time to the toilets ( you know...).
Easy job, eh?

Actually, I am not a fan nor I'm not watching the tv series " sex and the city". I just don't find it amusing. In anyway, I heard that this show is really rating high. Meaning, it's one of the well-loved series on the television.
Sex and the city is now shown on theaters. They made a movie in a latter sense. I am thinking how viewers would react or appreciate the film. Would it be more satisfying than the series or the tv series is much more better than the movie? Hmnn...what do you think?
I can't tell and will never will as I am not watching this movie. Just not a fan...sorry.

Watching rodeo is one of my favorite past time on television. I haven't seen a real one yet. Though I am very positive of the fact that one day I will be one of the audience in the arena. I want to feel the emotions that everybody has while watching such event. I want to see and join the crowd as they shout for joy.
Good thing that I live nearby Texas where rodeo events happen particularly in Houston. It will just be hours of drive from Louisiana going there. I can't wait to be part of this event. I used to bragged by husband about this that he would be fascinated as well and will bring me to Houston. I didn't waste my time doing it as he's a fanatic as well now. One day, we'll see ourselves watching the event.
One more thing is that I already found a website where I can purchase our Houston Rodeo tickets. The price is very reasonable enough for us to enjoy and be thankful. I am getting more and more excited everytime I browse this website and check for tickets. Hmmnn..who would like to join us?
This is also a good news for you whose reading this. If you are looking for event tickets in Houston, you can click the highlighted word above to get a great price or deal just like us.

Yep, yep, yep...Gossips have been flocking around about the value of Scarlet's engagement ring given by fiance, Ryan Reynolds. Some says that the sparkling solitaire is worth $30,000 but actually it's a more than 4 carat ring with a dazzling tag of $120,000. Shock? Yah, it's that huge! I'm sure everybody is asking when is the big day. For sure, these couple, just like other celebrities who were so quiet when wedding date is the matter would do the same. Followers would just read and hear that it happened already.

But here's a great news for Mcdo's French fries lovers from the article I just read today.

An excerpt from the news...
McDonald’s has lagged other restaurant operators in switching over to a zero-trans-fat cooking oil out of worries it would compromise the taste of its trademark fries. It has been under increasing pressure from consumer advocates and some public officials to make the change, but it did so quietly. Read whole article here.

I live in the Southern part of USA and this time of the year is really, really hot. Even if you have your air conditioner on, still I feel the hotness brought by high humidity. Hubby had suggested in purchasing humidifier last year but I refused for it's a lil bit expensive. Now, it's time for me to bug him to get one as it gets hotter and hotter as summer hits. He'll love the prices which Santa Fe dehumidifiers offers. We can save at least $200 for our purchase for a whole home dehumidifier.

For like over a week, opportunities were like water that I can't keep in my hands. It was so annoying coz everytime I reserved opps, it turned out to be gray or if I reserved some, I'd get the note that I haven't reserved such. Well, as I've said, everyday is not a lucky day. Having credits have both positive and negative impacts. It's just that some are abusive and gradually you're getting problems with your debts or credit reports. I am not a victim, myself for now and I am glad with it. Though I am positive to the fact that it will eventually happen especially that I always shop online or use my cards for every purchase. As you see, my identity is being revealed. There was a time when I received this e-mail stating that I purchased a camcorder online which I did not of course. It's just to happened that it was a phishing e-mail or I could have freaked out. Just imagine someone accessing your checking account and that certain person already had withdrawn like over $300 from me.
But so to becoming a victim, still there are helpful individuals or agencies to run to. There are lawyers who could help us in getting back what has been stolen from us -- our identity and assets. If you are an identity theft victim, get help from the experts -- the consumer protection lawyers. They are very skilled in this field and a guarantee is given to you to let those thieves pay. You can log on to www.creditreportproblems.com and browse the site for more information on how they can help you.

We are celebrating this day in honor or remembrance of those who died in our nation's service. Memorial Day is originally called Decoration Day.
There are many stories as to its actual beginnings, with over two dozen cities and towns laying claim to being the birthplace of Memorial Day. There is also evidence that organized women's groups in the South were decorating graves before the end of the Civil War: a hymn published in 1867, "Kneel Where Our Loves are Sleeping" by Nella L. Sweet carried the dedication "To The Ladies of the South who are Decorating the Graves of the Confederate Dead" (Source: Duke University's Historic American Sheet Music, 1850-1920). While Waterloo N.Y. was officially declared the birthplace of Memorial Day by President Lyndon Johnson in May 1966, it's difficult to prove conclusively the origins of the day. It is more likely that it had many separate beginnings; each of those towns and every planned or spontaneous gathering of people to honor the war dead in the 1860's tapped into the general human need to honor our dead, each contributed honorably to the growing movement that culminated in Gen Logan giving his official proclamation in 1868. It is not important who was the very first, what is important is that Memorial Day was established. Memorial Day is not about division. It is about reconciliation; it is about coming together to honor those who gave their all.
Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The first state to officially recognize the holiday was New York in 1873. By 1890 it was recognized by all of the northern states. The South refused to acknowledge the day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I (when the holiday changed from honoring just those who died fighting in the Civil War to honoring Americans who died fighting in any war). It is now celebrated in almost every State on the last Monday in May (passed by Congress with the National Holiday Act of 1971 (P.L. 90 - 363) to ensure a three day weekend for Federal holidays), though several southern states have an additional separate day for honoring the Confederate war dead: January 19 in Texas, April 26 in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi; May 10 in South Carolina; and June 3 (Jefferson Davis' birthday) in Louisiana and Tennessee. Shopping will always be a part of me. Eversince I got here, online shopping has been a daily routine. I am a constant watcher, bidder and buyer of ebay. Actually, I just got today the sunglasses I bought last Sunday. There is one more coming in the mail. Hopefully I'll receive it this Friday or Saturday. I was just again tempted and failed to fight my weakness...the shoes.
Anyway, I've chosen ebay as there are so many items to choose from with prices cheaper than what I see in the stores.
By the way, a friend of mine just started selling some items on ebay. Since she's still a newbie, I know she has still lots of things to learn. I will be telling her about
iSold It that she can sell her items with no hassles. Selling online with iSold is the easiest way and it will be a great opportunity for her.
Sooner or later, I might be selling some items on ebay as well and I would definitely get connected with iSold it.

I just read the news and was a lil bitty shocked with the Senator's situation. Neither that I know him or related to him but knowing somebody has a cancer makes me kinda shatter.
Anyway, here's an excerpt from the news...
The Massachusetts Democrat has a malignant glioma in the left parietal-lobe, according to doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital, where Kennedy, 76, has been undergoing tests since Saturday after having a seizure at his Cape Cod home.
The usual course of treatment includes combinations of radiation and chemotherapy, but Kennedy's treatment will be decided after more tests. Read full article here.

As much as I want to own a laptop, I just think of this common phrase which says "for your eyes only" and that's the only thing I do. Laptops sold in electronics or office supplies stores are pretty expensive. My budget can't go over the price. I want a cheaper one but of high quality laptop of my own.
Going over the internet, I found an e-store which sells cheap laptops and accessories in a very affordable price. I can't even believe on what I've seen. Even the top brands such as apple, compaq, IBM and dell are really cheap compared to other e-stores. There's no way you can find these prices anywhere. Laptop Broker leads the way. Aside from laptops, there are more products to purchase from the website. Amongst are the following :
- iPods
- HDTVs & LCDs
- Batteries
- Docking Stations
- Hard Drives
- Memory (RAM)
- Power Adapters
- Desktops
- Laptop Bags
So if you are planning of purchasing laptops, I am recommending Laptop Broker for a great deal.

For the past 3 weeks, I didn't get any job opportunity from Payu2. If I may guess it right, it had something to do with the opportunities I accepted from SS. That really bothered me a lot and made me to a decision of letting go of those opps for now. I really value Payu2 a lot. I like their system.
Thanks for giving me those jobs.

A tag from Twerlermz. Thanks dear!
According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain that seem to match up with certain blood types.
TYPE O
You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealously and a tendency to be too competitive.
TYPE A
You like harmony, peace and organization. You work well with others, and are sensitive, patient and affectionate. Among your weaknesses are stubbornness and an inability to relax.
TYPE B
You're a rugged individualist, who's straightforward and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.
TYPE AB
Cool and controlled, you're generally well liked and always put people at ease. You're a natural entertainer who's tactful and fair. But you're standoffish, blunt, and have difficulty making decisions.
How do you rate?
I'm type A. True to what is written above, I want everything to be organized and at peace. I don't mind doing things with others. In fact I enjoy it. My flaws, I am easily hurt when it comes to some things. My husband said I am really a stubborn creature...hehe.
Now let's keep this tag rolling! I want to know if your blood type really fits your personality.
1. Scotty's Princess
2. Lainy
3. Twerlermz
4. Lira

Along the way, there are lots of constructions going on. I've seen huge of machineries in the construction areas such as trucks, tractors and more which I couldn't name for I am not familiar with it. Sign of progress in a short sense. These sort of things woke the sleeping interest in me. Imagine how useful these machineries are to man power.
Talking about construction equipments, I came across this company website named Asher & Sons. Again, I became so interested with their business and what they offer. Being in the business for a decade is more establishing but Asher has been operating for nine decades dealing specialized construction equipments such as truck and equipment rentals, sales, and services. The other night, I cooked for me and hubby. I had "sinabawang baka" for myself and beef stew for him.
He is so hard to feed... just so picky. He doesn't like onions, garlic, carrots, green vegies, etc. Still, I'm still glad coz he likes potatoes. That's why every time I cook for him, it's always beef stew -- beef, potatoes with soy sauce. And for always, I prepare two dishes -- one for him and another for me. Rice is part of our meals.
It's very unusual, eh?

To my curiosity. I tried it myself. I first selected the the design I want for my photo card. I have chosen the horizontal for it's orientation. I then uploaded my favorite photo and this would appear on the photo card itself. Since I have the option to select the verse I want to appear on my card, I just typed the words on the box provided. Moreover, if I am not satisfied with my own customization, I can still edit it. Personalizing or customizing your own photo cards is so simple, eh? Give it a try as well. Just browse the website to see more and create your own photo cards. Make someone happy!

This happens a lot and ended up as a victim. The question is, how are you gonna get back the money you paid for the unused tickets? The answer? The Free Ticket Exchange, an online ticket outlet where you can buy and exchange tickets to an event such as a concert, theatre, or sporting event.
Among the benefits you get from Free Ticket Exchange are the following :
1. Avoid high fees
2. Choose from whom you buy or sell your ticket
3. Name your price
4. Build lasting relationships with like-minded folks
This is how free ticket exchange works. I have these tickets for Mariah Carey's concert but due to some problem, I can't attend and I want to sell it to get my money back. So I log on to www.freeticketexchange.com and post my tickets. I have the prerogative to choose a fan of mine who wants the tickets at no cost for me. It's just simple. Just take note that you should have your profile on Free Ticket Exchange in order for you to make transactions.
Free Ticket Exchange does not change your unused tickets alone, they also sell tickets for any events. So give yourself a try on browsing the website. Using the website is absolutely free!

I can't understand these people who stole the statue of San Lorenzo Ruiz, Filipino Saint. As a Catholic, I find it a fowl. How could these burglars take such a sacred thing? If they aren't a Catholic, at least show some respect to one's religion. That statue did nothing to them. It's just so annoying hearing about this news.
Excerpt from the news
Councilman James Gennaro says the statue of San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila, a Filipino Catholic martyr and saint, was stolen on Tuesday.source
He said someone chopped off the statue at the ankles and stole it from the San Lorenzo Ruiz Spiritual Center in Jamaica Hill, Queens.
He said the NYPD Hate Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.

Next time, if we've gotten a chance again for a vacation, we might spend it in Chicago. I want to see what Chicago has to offer for tourists like us and I am excited with it. Chicago things to do are too many to mention but I am certainly sure it would be a stay or a vacation to be remembered.

As I've said, I submitted a ticket and also got a reply from one of their customer service. With that reply, I was hoping to be enlightened but not. It's like everything now is so confusing.
Their answer or maybe excuse was that my rank had changed that's why I wasn't able to complete the opp. For all I know, I checked my rankings on that time and there was no changes made. It was verbatim till I submitted my entry and even after it was denied.
If that is the case, then what's the purpose of that so called 6-hour time to complete the opportunity?
I also read Gladys post today. As expected, PPP has it's reason as well which does not coincide with the response they had to me. PPP's reply to Gladys was that there was no such 113.50 job opp yesterday where there was and I was one of those lucky bloggers who were able to reserved it.
Now, in my ticket I also mentioned the said amount of opp but they didn't give any explanation about it.
There is something wrong! We can't pin point but we are hoping this would be fixed.

My mother-in-law own one but still prefers to use her landline. I remember the last time I was with her and somebody was calling her cell phone. The phone kept on ringing waiting for her to press the answer button. She had like three or more missed calls. I wondered why she's not doing anything that time. She just let her phone rang. I asked her why and she said she doesn't know what to do or press. So I taught her to press a key and she was able to received the call. It was a lil bit funny but I hid my emotion. I don't want her to get embarrassed.
Now there is a cell phone available for our oldies. The phones' features really suit their needs. Cell phones from Jitterbug are so easy, helpful and very affordable. Features include the following :
- It has bigger, backlit buttons. Most of our old folks can hardly see and this is best for them.
- Bright and large text.
- Powerful speaker sounds loud and clear.
Jitterbug has a live, 24-hour operators that can make calls for our oldies in case of emergencies. Also, provide directory assistance and add names to phone list.
The service is very affordable. With just $10 a month, calls are unlimited with no roaming or long distance fees.
This really makes sense. A cellphone created for our grandparents.
