Alteration fee here costs a fortune. I remember when I had my wedding dress hemmed and we paid over $70. I didn't sleep over that. It was just so expensive and began comparing prices here from what I used to have.
Such experience made me think of getting my own sewing machine. I have been eyeing for this Singer sewing machine on HSN. It's on flexpay for 3 at $43.42 a month. The offer is great with a lot of features plus free shipping and handling.
I am still skeptical of getting it. Just don't want to buy now as it may be on clearance sale in the later part. Hence, I am also worrying as it's almost sold out and I might not be able to get one.
Argghh...

this is so true jud lir. just yesterday nagpa alter ko ug 5 ka slacks for work, sus 40 dollars akong nabayran. pero walay choice kay dili man ko kabalo mutahi. hehe. im planning to take up sewing pero i dunno if makabalo ba kaha ko, hehe. good thing na kabalo diay ka manahi, getting a sewing machine is a good investment jud labi na pareho nato na petite kaau, hehe

i love that type of sewing machine, my mom had that and she really enjoyed making cute curtains =)
