I just knew this fact today upon reading some news. Water is no longer given for free for all US Airways passengers. This sucks! Aside from we are paying for check luggage, we are also gonna pay for our water. US Airways is charging fliers $2 for bottled water and sodas and $1 for teas and coffees. First class members, trans-Atlantic passengers and a select group of others are exempt from the extra fees. Hmm...it's unfair! This policy is effective August 1, 2008. Still, passengers are to abide with this new policy. We have no choice as we need to fly and drink as well. Maybe next time meals are not to be served anymore for free. Oh boy! I am glad I am not a frequent traveler.
