Lai Thi Dao, a Vietnamese teen underwent a 12-hour surgery in Miami to remove a 7 kilogram tumor on her face. She left Jackson Memorial Medical Center last April 22 after the surgery.
The tumor known as Schwannoma which is said to be benign covered most of the lower part of her face. The tumor is said to be one of the the largest according to University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center doctors.
Lai will go back to school after her recovery and hope she'll enjoy her new life now.
